M.L. Johnson Woodworks

This custom bookcase was a special request from a client. The walnut boards for this piece came from a tree that fell on their old property, which they had been holding onto for many years.

A simple design was chosen to keep the focus on the walnut. The design is based on the wonderful bookcase from Chris Schwarz's "Anarchist Design Book". This is my third variation of that design, each, a small evolution in detail and process to make it my own.
